Hireaband.com is a directory of entertainers. Hireaband.com does not act as an entertainment agency or entertainment business. We provide the direct contact details of the entertainers on this web site except where an entertainer has appointed an agent or manager as sole representative, in which case we provide the contact details for their agent or representative. On all occasions we will supply the most direct route to your chosen artiste possible.

As a directory we are not part of any agreement you reach with your chosen artiste and accept no responsibility for any issues arising from such agreements, including but not limited to let downs, no shows, line up changes or any issues regarding payment, fees and financial disputes of any kind. We strongly advise that you put any verbal agreements in writing and that a record of all correspondence is kept.

All the information provided on each entertainers page originates with the entertainer and we accept no responsibility for misleading or inaccurate information whatsoever. The views expressed by our advertisers do not necessarily reflect the views of hireaband.com

We recommend that payment should be made to your entertainer at the beginning of the event. In some cases artistes may require a deposit. Some artistes may have alternative terms and most agents almost certainly will.

Trading Terms for Entertainers

Definitions.In these terms;
“We” “Our” and “US” mean hireaband Ltd. trading as hireaband.com.
“You” and “Your” mean the person or persons with whom we agree to supply our online service.
“Online Service” means any information or data published or supplied by us in electronic form.

1. We shall supply the online service subject to these terms which may not be altered without our written agreement.
2. We reserve the right to change the content layout and format of the online service without notice or compensation.
3. We do not warrant an uninterrupted or error free online service.
4. Our service is to provide you, the entertainer with space on our web site in order to obtain qualified leads. You will purchase credits in advance of receiving any leads. One credit will be equal to one lead. We reserve the right to vary the charge we levy for each lead at any time. We may also issue free credits at any time at our sole discretion.
5. Credits may be paid for by credit or debit card. If you do not have or prefer not to use this facility you may purchase credits by cheque or BACS. Your credits will be become active subject to cleared funds.
6. Once purchased your credits will have no expiry date. Your details will remain available to site users as long as your account remains in credit.
7. Refunds. If you fail to receive any contact from prospective leads after an initial period of twelve months, the value of credits purchased will be refunded in full on receipt of an invoice from you. However no refund whatsoever will be made in the event that one or more leads are generated within the initial twelve month period.
8. You may only submit material to the web site to which you are legally entitled. You must own the copyright for any images submitted and you agree that all demo material is a true representation of your act. You will indemnify hireaband.com for any penalties or costs if you post material that you are not entitled to. This includes any loss of profit, business contacts, reputation, goodwill, business interruption, economic loss or any liability you may have to a third party. Neither will hireaband.com be responsible for any unforeseeable special indirect or consequential losses of any nature whatsoever. If a third party proves that they are the legal owner of submitted material, hireaband.com reserves the right to suspend your page on the site and will not be obliged to refund any remaining credits.
9. You are not permitted to post the following on your page on the web site; telephone numbers, web links, email addresses other than that provided by hireaband.com or any other contact information likely to result in contact with the entertainer other than through the channels provided by hireaband.com. Failure to comply with this term may result in your page being suspended and any remaining credits being forfeited.
10. You may not include material on our web site which may be considered offensive or inflammatory. This includes any reference to religion, politics, race, sexual orientation, age etc. neither will we tolerate negative comments about any other entertainer, agent or similar organisation. If material of this nature is discovered this may result in your page being suspended and any remaining credits being forfeited.
11. All terms and conditions of use of our online service and any related disputes will be subject to resolution under Scots law.
12. You may terminate your involvement with us at any time providing you do so in writing. Any remaining credits will be forfeited and no refunds will be considered under any circumstances including but not restricted to band break up. The only exception being refunds due under term 7.

We have developed this policy because we want you to feel confident about the privacy and security of personal information you provide us with. The following explains how we handle your personal data:

Email addresses

At hireaband we respect the privacy of personal information. We will not send you unwanted e-mail messages or junk mail, and your details will not be passed to ANY organisation beyond hireaband without your explicit permission.

However, we will use e-mail to send you messages about outstanding orders, faults and service issues. We may also use e-mail to keep you up to date with news about our services, as well as anything you show an interest in, either online, or through other contact with us. If you do not want to be kept informed in this way by e-mail, please let us know.

Disclosure of information

hireaband complies with data protection laws in the United Kingdom and takes all reasonable care to prevent any unauthorised access to your personal data.

hireaband employees and those working for agents or contractors of hireaband have a responsibility to keep your information confidential and will only use it in the provision of services on behalf of hireaband.

The personal details that we use to provide or promote our products and services (for example your name, telephone number, or email address), as well as any information taken from you while you are using this web site, will NOT be passed to ANY organisation beyond hireaband.co.uk to be used for marketing purposes. Your details may sometimes be shared with hireaband.co.uk contractors or agents in order to provide you with products and services you have requested.
